Part of the Live Paintings series, Clavicula Salomonis Grimorium: Hell Descension, or How to Live in Argentina with a Base Salary reimagines one of my deconstructed Bosch-inspired paintings, brought to life through animation. The detailed scenes, rich recreated with my own signs and symbols, envision what might occur if these paintings were alive. In this animation, a demon descends into hell, battling surreal forces—a poignant analogy for the current economic struggles in Argentina.
The work reflects how the new political and economic policies are driving people deeper into poverty, illustrating the harsh realities of surviving on a base salary in today's Argentina.
