Let Go

The beat is pounding in my chest,
The music takes me in its grasp,
I close my eyes and let it flow,
As I dance and lose myself at last.
The bass is thumping in my ears,
The lights are flashing all around,
I give in to the rhythm's call,
And let my feet leave the ground.
I move to the music's pulsing sound,
Forgetting all my worries and cares,
I lose myself in the moment,
As the music fills me and takes me somewhere.
I am free in this place,
Where the music and the people unite,
I lose myself in the music,
As I dance into the night
