(1/10) This song was the intro to my self-titled project, 'The lonelybando Album'(2015), when I was initially getting into audio production and making beats under the moniker, 'lonelybando'. I was just coming off of finishing an Audio Engineering apprenticeship in my hometown of Chicago, Il, and was encouraged by my peers when I presented the idea to them. It's titled 'No Facetime' because as I played with the Beyoncé sample I felt a tropical oceanic vibe & I usually let intuition guide me whenever I name something, so I felt this constituted a declarative statement against the most contrary concept I could think of off cuff; being on one's iPhone on Facetime.
