Landscapes for New Mexico - Visual Portraits

These "Landscapes for New Mexico" represent a series of idiosyncratic, inexplicable, observed-or-imagined landscapes, influenced by the artist's peculiar experience of time-space living in northern New Mexico. These artworks were crafted on the occasion of the album by the same name, available to hear on Catalog. 19 images were made: 9 dedicated to the tracks of the album and 10 static images captured in this collection. Together, the work serves as a metaphorical portrait of internal and external landscapes as feeling tones informed by the presences and absences of this subtly enchanted place.
