Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque (Iran)

History: Located in the city of Isfahan, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque was constructed during the Safavid dynasty in the early 17th century under Shah Abbas I. Unlike typical mosques, it lacks a minaret and courtyard, being primarily intended as a private place of worship for the royal court. Its exquisite tilework and dome with shifting colors depending on the light make it an architectural marvel of Islamic art.
