Underdogs

The biggest stage in the world. Maybe it's the Tour de France, maybe the Olympics, or in this case, the FIFA Women's World Cup. It's the stage that gives an extra boost to performance, a stage where underdogs can get that extra push to rise up above themselves and create an unexpected win over former or reigning champions. It can happen. Sometimes. This poem is an ode to the underdogs.

Underdogs / rise up above themselves / on world's biggest stage. This is their chance. / Will they upset champions? / They just might.

Poetry x football x AI images

During the FIFA Women's World Cup I will search for poetry in matches. When I find it, the poem will be fed to an AI model, with up to 5 modifiers, to generate an image. This image will be combined with the poem and made available for a limited-time open edition. The project explores journalism in poetry form and how prompts guide outcomes when using AI.
