Atmospheres, Industry, and Ephemera.

Limited photographic series using 35 mm film of a now demolished gypsum factory in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This place was unexpectedly found while doing research on a site nearby for an architectural work. Exploring the factory was both exciting and uncomfortable; there were many unknowns and ambiguities as to why it was there, where spaces led, or if there were others who frequented the space. There was something beautiful and elemental in it's decay, natural light, lack of sound, and spatial phenomena. All moments were captured in single shots using analog media through a manual and vintage Nikon camera.
