GOLDENBOY.

"Goldenboy." is an experimental exploration of my mind and inner thoughts via AI and 3D animation. Long story short, I'm a first-generation American from a Jamaican household. Life for my family wasn't easy, but through their perseverance, love, and guidance, I've been fortunate to create for a living and have opportunities they couldn't. While this is beautiful and something I'm always grateful for, it unfortunately comes with self-inflicted guilt and pressure, triggered by the passing of my great aunt and the health complications of my grandmother, the matriarchs of our family. The best way I know to communicate and open these feelings up for healing is through creating. Thus, "Goldenboy" was born, a character grappling with the demons of perfection.
