Smooth on entry, brooding synth pads lay down a bed for Lisa’s dreamy vocals to sit. Electric and baritone guitars ring in choruses, whilst smooth backing vocals and a quick high hat rhythm bring the bridge home. Bright Lights is the breakup song that gives hurt and confidence all at once. Growing older and more self aware never sounded so good.
