Series of digital illustrations about the Voduns (deities and divinized ancestors of the Ewe-Fon peoples of the ancient kingdoms of Dahomey, present-day Benin). In the artwork, I talk about these ancestors from the point of view of Candomblé, an Afro-Brazilian religion that has maintained the religious and cultural practices of various African peoples who, here in Brazil, resisted slavery.
These arts are a celebration of our faith and our ancestry.
