Ancient Light - M106

M106 is around 25 million light years away, this means this is how this galaxy looked 25 million years ago, all newer light is still on it's way.
The mind blowing piece is when I think that when I aligned my telescope and turned it to the heavens my camera captured photons that set off during the Early Miocene Era on Earth, a period that included Sabre Tooth Tigers.
