Crypto's cultural potential

A simple conceptual diagram to accompany an essay I wrote about crypto's cultural potential on my blog, The Digital Buffets.

In that essay, I propose for crypto to be viewed as an open, free-for-all workshop, which contains many types of tools that we can use to foster more durable and dynamic forms of digital culture.

These tools can be conceptualised in terms of the five Cs, each representing the capabilities of blockchains as a (i) catalogue, (ii) custodian, (iii) canvas, (iv) computer, and (v) casino.
