The Bakhtiaris are one of the Ler elots living in the west and southwest of Iran. Bakhtiari people mainly speak the Bakhtiari dialect, which is one of the dialects of the Lori language. Iranica encyclopedia and Jahan-e-Islam encyclopedia introduce the settlement of this tribe from Faridan in the west of Isfahan province to the north, east and center of Khuzestan.
