Digital Echo (Audiovisual)

Enter a dark and disconcerting world with 'Digital Echo'. In this 13-minute audiovisual experience in black and white, the boundary between reality and virtuality disintegrates, giving rise to an intensely unsettling cyber performance.

Using the computer's webcam and an interaction between the effects generated in the moment, this cyber performance unfolds to the sound of an old song, in which the performer followed the music and the effects to create an audiovisual whole. The dissonant notes, the weird beat and the disconnected arrangements in highs and lows combine to create a weird soundscape, plunging the spectator into a state of unease.

Through glitch effects and visual distortions, the video evokes a ghostly aesthetic, as if reality itself were fading away. The image of someone confined in a virtual room, unable to escape, creates an atmosphere of claustrophobia and despair. The protagonist becomes a spectre that exists only in the confines of the internet, a digital entity that echoes the loneliness and fear that inhabit this virtual space.

'Digital Echo' is more than just a performance; it is a harrowing immersion into a world where the line between the real and the imaginary is distorted, where anxiety manifests itself in the form of sound and image. In an emotionally charged journey, where terror and agony intertwine, the viewer is led to question what is genuine in a digital landscape saturated with uncertainty."
