the title track from my 2016 debut album "pause".

included is the last of fifteen ultra-rare turquoise cassettes in existence, which were never sold to the public.

this is the album that changed everything for me. as part of the release, i was put on the cover of spotify's "fresh finds" playlist, which made me the first instrumental artist to be featured on the playlist. this marked a pivotal moment in music: an instrumental artist being given a platform with direct access to mainstream listeners.

in the years that followed, we've seen instrumental music change the landscape of the music industry: artists with catalogs comprised entirely of instrumental music now reaching the masses. "pause" marks one of the first tangible moments we saw this happening.
