Last Time In This Place

I wanted to start the record off with an evocative, cinematic opening: a futuristic city at night, neon in the rain, digital waves crashing against a metaverse shore. This track is meant to serve as the door to the world of the record.

Joseph Shabason’s sax and synth work here really steals the show. I sent him a soundscape, with everything you’re hearing in the foundation of the track, and his melodies took it to an entirely new level.
