Northern Paradise

This Northern Lights Time-Lapse video, capturing the Natural Electric Phenomenon, also known as Aurora Borealis or Polar Lights, took 45 minutes to film and consists of 900 images shot with an interval of one every 3 seconds.

It was captured in the City of Thompson, in Northern Manitoba – Canada, a prime viewing spot as it sits right beneath the Auroral Oval in the Northern Hemisphere.

Northern Lights are an interaction between Earth’s magnetic field and charged particles emitted by the Sun. These particles then spiral around giving us one of the world’s greatest natural wonders.
